“We requested a special package deal from Sandie including a family photoshoot and for some time in the future, a newborn shoot and she was only too happy to accommodate. She was quick to reply, and asked questions to gain a clear understanding of what it was exactly that we were after. From the theme of the photos, location, the dynamics of our family, we felt well-understood going into the shoot. Additionally, we can be quite uncomfortable taking photos of ourselves but Sandie made us feel completely at ease, with tricks for us and treats for our four-legged family members, we appreciated her patience with us all as well. The end product then speaks for itself. We have only had the family photoshoot so far, but we love everything about our gallery. Hi there! My name is Sandie, and I am a family photographer based in the beautiful city of Ipswich. As a mum of two adult children, one of which was born with a life threatening chronic illness, I know firsthand the importance of capturing those precious moments with your family that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
Before diving into the world of photography, I worked as a child and family support worker, where I gained invaluable experience in building relationships and creating a safe and comfortable environment for families. I have also been a long term carer for my daughter throughout her life. These experiences have translated seamlessly into my work as a photographer, where I strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that allows families to relax and be themselves in front of the camera.
